|
Awards program: The association offers its members the chance to
participate in its annual awards program. Awards are presented at an annual
banquet, which is usually held in January. New for 2008: recognized schooling shows. Schooling show chairwoman Ashley Hammill has developed a system for recognizing schooling shows that's a win-win for competitors, the association and the show management. Here are the details. Here are the awards program's official rules: The Alamo Dressage Association proudly honors its competing members with year-end awards in two divisions: Recognized Shows and Schooling Shows. Rider Achievement Certificates are also given. All awards are presented at the ADA Annual Banquet. Qualifying Rules 1. The ADA competition year is Jan. 1-Dec. 31 2. To be eligible, the rider must be an ADA member in good standing at the time the scores are earned. 3. Qualification is based on same horse/rider combination. 4. The score, Rider's name and Horse name must be legible. Recognized Show Classifications 1. USDF/USEF Recognized Shows - Champion and Reserve at each: Training Level thru Fourth Level, and FEI a) Open b) Amateur c) Junior/ Young Rider Divisions will be combined if less than 3 qualified horse rider combinations are in each division. 2.
