The Alamo Dressage Association understands the need for continuing education
for their members. We are in the process of selectively planning new and
upcoming events for our members.

Upcoming Educational Events

The ADA Board of Directors has authorized the organization of a number of
subsidized Clinics to be taught by ADA professionals who have supported the
ADA Free Christmas Clinics during the past two years!
The ADA will subsidize one half of the regular hourly rate of the instructors
for each ADA member that participates. This gives the ADA rider a grand
opportunity to receive expert instruction at a great price!
The designated instructors are Richard Howard, Mary Rose, Eva Oldenbroeck,
Susan Hancock, Reinhard Dorsch and Wolfgang May. Richard has already
conducted his clinic, especially designed for juniors, last month at the
Stones' stables. But the rest of these fine instructors are available, so
take advantage of the ADA's gift to you, and sharpen your riding skills!

The next ADA Subsidized Clinic will be at the Blue Creek Ranch, Kathy
Lubianski's place near Seguin, on 18 April, with Wolfgang May as the
instructor.
Lessons will be $45 for 45 minutes. You must be a member of ADA to receive
the reduced rate. You may join ADA prior to the clinic and be eligible to
ride at the reduced rate. The cost for non-ADA members is $70 per lesson.
Wolfgang recently relocated to Texas. His very impressive biography and other
information can be found at his website: www.wolfgangmaydressage.com
Please send an email to Kathy at kjltx@att.net if you would like to
participate.
There is paperwork to file with ADA prior to the clinic, so the sooner the
better.

Farm, located in the Cordillera Ranch suburb of Boerne.
Lessons will be $30 per 45 minute sessions for all ADA members. Non-members
will pay the regular fee of $60 per lesson. You must be a member of ADA to
receive the reduced rate. You may join ADA prior to the clinic and be
eligible to ride at the reduced rate. If you need an ADA membership
application go to www.alamodressage.org.
Reinhard is an extremely competent trainer of extensive experience, speaks
perfect english, and produces excellent results with his students and horses.
You may read more about him at his website www.classicdressagetraining.com.
This is a super opportunity to be exposed to top quality instruction as a
benefit of membership in our club!
Wyning Edge Friesians Farm is a very attractive stud farm with an impressive
group of the big horses, with a first class outdoor dressage arena. Paula
will provide snacks and a big lunch for a small fee for riders and guests.
If you would like to participate please send an email to Marissa Avila,
Education Chair, at meagunn@msn.com, with info copies to wefriesians@msn.com
