Indian Creek Farm
Proudly welcomes
A third generation rider from the
Spanish Riding School of Vienna
Herr Christian Bachinger
To the United States for a 5 day
Classical Horsemanship Clinic in
Spring Branch, Texas
July 8th-12th 2009
The Spanish Riding School of Vienna is the only riding academy in the world where the Renaissance tradition of classical horsemanship is preserved and cultivated to this day. The unique harmony of man and beast achieved here is famous all over the world.
Indian creek is proud to be able to provide 5 days of classical training for you and your horse! This is an opportunity to learn skills to last a lifetime.
Herr Bachinger is a 3rd generation rider at the school both his Father and Grandfather were riders. Today his Father Ernst Bachinger serves as the current Director of the School overseeing the horses and riders.
Herr Bachinger is an experienced clinician who will share his love of classical horsemanship with you at your pace. This clinic is designed with the rider in mind. We realize that it is just not possible to fly over to Vienna with your horse and train on a regular basis, so what we hope to accomplish is a very detailed and comprehensive training program tailor made for you…One that you will be able to reflect upon for years to come.
In order to participate in this clinic you will need to fill out the application form in its entirety and submit it as soon as possible.
Herr Bachinger will work with horses and riders of all ages and levels. What is important is that you come with an open mind and a hard work ethic.
Our lessons will be 45 minutes in length. Each lesson will be tailored to the horse and rider. Christian will perform your lesson in English. Christian offers lessons on the hand, lounging, private, group, Pas de duex, and Musical freestyle. Group lessons are up to 2 riders training at the same level.
We will be offering lessons in the morning through lunch at the beautiful Indian Creek Outdoor dressage arena. Here we will have available stabling, paddocks and RV spots. All lessons are based on the rider not the horse so it is possible for a rider to have more than one horse in the clinic and/or ride 2 times in one day.
Our afternoon lessons will be held in Leon Springs at the Pony Express location in a covered arena. This should allow some relief from the blazing sun! This location has a sound system in the arena, bring your music and tighten up your musical freestyle!
Take advantage of this opportunity to take a pas de deux lesson from one of the best group riders in the world.
Group lessons (up to 2 riders training at the same level) are $100.00 per rider.
Stabling will be available at both locations at the rate of $30.00 per night. They will be filled on a first come first served basis.
RV spaces are available at the rate of $50.00 per night we have 8 spaces available at Indian Creek Farm
We will try to accommodate everyone best we can, the schedule will be done on a first come first serve basis.
