Enjoy a happy hour beverage of your choice and join us for a conversation and Q&A with Equine Nutritionist, Brittany Silvers.

About Brittany:

Brittany recently graduated from Texas A&M University with a Master of Science degree in Animal Science, focusing in Equine Nutrition. Brittany’s Masters research investigated the effects of various methods of exercise (aquatic vs. dry) on bone and joint development in young horses. Her special interests include nutrition for the exercising horse, as well as young horse nutrition and joint health. During her time at Texas A&M, Brittany found a passion for teaching and educating and aims to improve the knowledge of horse owners throughout the country. Brittany was selected to teach riding and horsemanship to the A&M Corps of Cadets Cavalry while working on her Masters and research project. She is also a certified Level 4 english and western instructor with the Certified Horsemanship Association. Prior to beginning her undergraduate degree at Texas A&M, Brittany was a long-time member of the Alamo Dressage Association. She trained her Holsteiner, Lamington, from Intro to Prix St. George. Although she has taken a break from the show ring to focus on school and working with young horses, she looks forward to going down centerline again in the near future.

When registering, please provide your questions in advance by September 10th.

Meeting will be conducted via Zoom.  Download the app to your phone or tablet or join via your computer.  Make sure your speakers and microphone are on.
