    Picking the right bit for your horse is crucial, but many riders use ill fitting or ill matched bits because they’re convenient or misunderstood. Renowned bitting expert Beth Haist will expand your bit knowledge and help you make the right choice for your horse!

    JUNIORS! (and adults too!) Join us for "Everything You Wanted to Know about Freestyles" with USEF "S" Judge, Joan Darnell.  

    You will discover the answers to these burning questions....

    • Music first or choreography first?
    • What kind of music software should I use?
    • How do I make a lower level freestyle exciting?
    • How do I match the music with the horse?
    • What kind of music is acceptable? Genres? Voice?

    About Joan:  Joan Darnell is a USEF “S” Dressage judge and also a member of the USDF “L” Faculty, a member of the USDF Freestyle and Judges Committees and a member of the USEF Licensed Officials Working Group. Joan has been active in dressage since the early 1980’s having competed through the levels and completing her USDF Bronze, Silver and Gold Medals. She has been the past President of the Idaho Dressage and Eventing Association and the Central Texas Dressage Society. She now resides in Olympia, Washington with her husband and their 3 horses, 4 dogs and cat. They enjoy traveling, and gardening in their spare time.

    The San Antonio Fall Dressage Show I & II has been moved to March 27-28, 2021. Look for prize list in late January/early February at www.showsecretary.com.

    We will still host our Horse & Rider Easter Bonnet contest so start working on your bonnets now!

Founded in 1981, Alamo Dressage Association (ADA) is a non-profit, charter Group Member Organization of the United States Dressage Federation.
