2023 ADA YEAR END AWARD Requirements FINAL.pdf

Please contact  our Awards Chair, if you have questions or would like more information.

Volunteer Requirement

ADA is a volunteer run organization that is dedicated to providing opportunities to its members. To encourage members to participate, there is a   volunteer requirement to be eligible for year end awards. This is a great opportunity to give back to the club.

In order to be eligible for the year end awards ADA requires 4 hours of volunteer service. This must be done during the current awards year. Volunteer hours after 12/1 will count towards the following award year.

How to Earn Volunteer Hours:

  • Hours may be earned by the competitor or someone else appointed by the competitor in their stead .
  • Earn hours at ADA horse shows, local shows with dressage classes (check out the Events Page for local shows), clinics or other club sponsored events.
  • Attend a board meeting (maximum 1 hour credit). Visit the Members Only page for zoom link and details.
  • Earn hours by  soliciting sponsorship and/or ads for the horse show. Each $50 worth of sponsorship and/or ads is equal to 1 volunteer hour. Maximum 4 hours can be earned from sponsorship. Learn More
