We extend our heartfelt gratitude to Kelly Martinez for her exceptional service as Education Chair for the past three years. Kelly's dedication and hard work in organizing numerous successful events have greatly contributed to the success of our organization.

We are pleased to welcome Leah Stephen to replace Kelly on the board as our new Education Chair. Leah brings with her a wealth of knowledge, experience, and enthusiasm that will undoubtedly benefit our organization. Leah is a distinguished USDF Silver and Bronze medalist, with an impressive track record of winning multiple USDF Horse of the Year all-breeds awards, including Champion Prix St George and 4th level in 2023, Reserve Champion 4th level in 2022, and Reserve Champion Training level in 2015.

Leah's extensive background includes owning, breeding, and training at Green Spring Valley Friesian Sporthorses from 2004-2019. She has also gained valuable experience working and competing abroad in the UK, where she earned colors with Ft Leavenworth Foxhunt in 2011 and was the Cambridgeshire, England dressage champion in 2010. Leah has worked as a stallion and young horse trainer at Witcham Farm Stud in Cambs, UK from 2007-2011, as well as a horse trainer at Sedgeway Equestrian Center in Cambridgeshire, UK from 2009-2011. Additionally, she has honed her skills in dressage through schooling and studying in Germany at Reiterhof Mooswiese and Reitsportanlage Engbarth.

We are confident that Leah's expertise and passion for equestrian education will lead our organization to new heights. Please join us in welcoming Leah as our new Education Chair.
