ADA Board of Directors Ballot

October 23, 2020 9:14 AM | Arlene Gaitan (Administrator)

Be on the lookout in your email box for a ballot for our candidates for the Board of Directors!  Meet our candidates below:

President - James (Jim) Humphreys

I'm Jim Humphreys, a pathologist who came to San Antonio a long time ago to attend medical school, and then never left. I am a relative newcomer to horses having started out as an ignorant but interested barn dad for my daughter and eventually trying riding myself. I am a low skill, high enthusiasm dressage rider but working on it and am very excited about the coming year for this organization.

Secretary - Claire Oxley

Claire K. Oxley is a retired U.S. diplomat who served abroad in seven countries as well as in Washington, D.C. and New York. She took up riding as an adult, first trail riding, then jumping and finally dressage. She takes regular lessons and occasional clinics, and competes a few times a year. She joined ADA several years ago and has enjoyed attending educational events as well as competitions. She looks forward to getting to know the ADA membership and board in the coming year.

Member-at-Large - Anastasia (Stacy) Parker

Anastasia (Stacey) Parker is a violinist in the San Antonio Symphony and Camerata San Antonio. She grew up riding as a working student at a local barn in PA and took several years off from riding to go to college and take orchestral auditions. In her spare time Stacey likes to take dressage lessons, audit clinics and rescue/foster/TNR cats. She has been a member of ADA for the past four years and has enjoyed showing and volunteering with this great group of horse lovers.
